DESCRIPTION OF THE INTERNSHIP/JOB

Fastercom is recruiting for an end-of-studies internship or a first job in order to train its future Business Specialists. This position is specially designed to welcome beginners who are motivated to learn and evolve. We focus on increasing skills: each person will be supported at each stage to become an expert in transport and logistics jobs, in extremely varied sectors of activity.

Your main mission will be to support logistics players in setting up and maintaining computer applications such as TMS (Transport Management System).

As a Business Specialist, you will be responsible for several missions, such as:

  • Understand the environments and needs of Fastercom customers
  • Travel regularly to customers to be in contact with their operational realities
  • Communicate closely with the team by sharing your observations and your understanding of customer specifications
  • Work closely with Specialists, Solutions and Developers, Integrators to decide and support the implementation of Faster.com solutions for its customers
  • Ensure good understanding, good communication and excellent customer satisfaction through customer relationships and team coordination
  • Participate in the highest level of quality assurance by carrying out tests in real conditions of Fastercom solutions with customers
  • Participate in the definition of priorities and the planning of each client project

WANTED PROFILE

  • DEC in Transport or Logistics, in progress or recently obtained
  • Limited professional experience (end-of-studies internship or 0 to 2 years of experience)
  • Strong interest in transport or logistics
  • Ability to understand the operational challenges related to transport and logistics in many sectors of activity (health, collection, delivery, etc.)
  • Interest in learning the basics of project management (planning, resources, communication)
  • Motivation to solve problems and communicate effectively
  • Motivation and a taste for rapid learning to quickly increase skills and responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and motivation to work in a team
  • Already legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Ambition/Dynamism/Seriousness/Integrity and ethics
  • Sense of customer service and the pursuit of excellence
